METAIRIE, LA.–(April 25, 2012)–With live music, an artists market, the 610 Stompers and more Crawfish than you can shake a stick at, Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown delivered a fun afternoon of food, music and revelry during the third-annual Pinch-A-Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest. Festival-goers pinched 1,000 lbs. of Seasoned boiled Crawfish during the event!
Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie, converted the restaurant parking lot and adjacent street into a free family friendly street party to Celebrate Earth Day and Pinch d’at Tail–a portion of the proceeds from Pinch-A-Palooza 2012 benefited the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation, which works to conserve the 10,000-square-mile Lake Pontchartrain Watershed.
